If you would like to hold a Gold CSCS card to become a supervisor, you will need a better understanding of health and safety than most of the other works on the construction site.

On a worksite being a supervisor has some responsibilities, and you will have to make safety-critical decisions every day, and this will be a massive part of your job.

To get hold of your gold CSCS card, you will first have to pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test. This test will consist of 50 multiple choice questions, you will need to get to the pass make which is 47 out of 50. These questions will have 38 questions of which will test you on health, safety and environmental issues and the other 12 questions will be behavioural case study questions. These will test your on how you should act on a construction site to keep yourself and others safe at all times.
