From Chester Railway station walk down City Road keeping to the left hand pavement. Immediately after crossing the canal bridge take the steps down to the canal tow path. Go under the bridge and follow the path keeping the canal on your right. The Test Centre is about 150 yds on the left. Please note the on street parking around the test centre is residents permit only From the entrance to the main bus terminal, cross the road in front of you at the pedestrian lights. In front and slightly to your left, you will see Mecca Bingo. Once you have crossed the road, bear right on the footpath across the canal bridge, then immediately left down the steps to the lock keeper public house. Pass by the pub on the right, then bear right onto the canal towpath. Follow the towpath keeping the canal on your left, passing under a large road bridge. The Mill House hotel will be to your left, across the canal. Carry on following the towpath till you reach a smaller road bridge at the junction with Seller Street. Cross the Road here, then down the steps in front of you and the test centre will be seen immediately to your Right. Disabled access – flat level entry via main office door from the street.

How do I go about booking my CSCS Test?

What should I take with me to the exam?
It is of the highest importance that you bring photographic identification with you to the test centre, their rules dictate ” No ID, No Test!”
Which forms of ID are accepted?
The forms of ID that are accepted are ones with a photo, So a valid UK Photo card driving licence showing a photograph of yourself and your signature. Also a passport – This will be accepted from any nationality which has both a photo and signature.
Things you should do before sitting the CSCS test
It is very important you take your time to learn and revise as much as you can before sitting the exam. Take plenty of CSCS mock tests and practice exams before sitting your exam, plenty of mock exams can be found on YouTube. You can also purchase additional revision tools and materials online from retailers such as Amazon.
