The Test Centre is located on the ground floor at 100 Mansfield Road, Chester Green, Derby, it is in the East Wing of the College of Health and Beauty, a building with a large glass frontage at the roundabout facing St Pauls church. It is a 15 minute walk from the City Centre bus station via Full Street, Sowter Rd, St Mary’s Bridge and Mansfield Rd. Buses for Chester Green, Oakwood (22 and 24), Breadsall and Little Eaton all pass the test centre Once on Mansfield Road, proceed to the roundabout and then turn right into Prime Parkway (also signposted for the Police Headquarters). The Test Centre is situated within the building on the right and pedestrian access is gained through the large black gates. Full disabled access; Wheelchair access is available by a permanent raised walkway in to the test centre. Entrance to the Test Centre is gained through the second single door on the right. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO PARKING FACILITIES AT THIS CENTRE but there is parking space available on the adjacent roads. Please also note that there are no waiting facilities in the Test Centre for people accompanying candidates.

What should I take with me to the exam?
It is of the highest importance that you bring photographic identification with you to the test centre, their rules dictate ” No ID, No Test!”
Which forms of ID are accepted?
The forms of ID that are accepted are ones with a photo, So a valid UK Photo card driving licence showing a photograph of yourself and your signature. Also a passport – This will be accepted from any nationality which has both a photo and signature.
Things you should do before sitting the CSCS test
It is very important you take your time to learn and revise as much as you can before sitting the exam. Take plenty of CSCS mock tests and practice exams before sitting your exam, plenty of mock exams can be found on YouTube. You can also purchase additional revision tools and materials online from retailers such as Amazon.
